CNT Best Student Paper Award for Neurotechnology Advancement

This award recognizes and promotes a technical paper that has made identifiable contributions in the areas of neurotechnology or human-machine interaction.

Eligibility

Undergraduate and graduate students associated with the Center for Neurotechnology (CNT) at the University of Washington, San Diego State University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are eligible to apply. To be considered for this award, the applicant's paper needs to be accepted for publication and scheduled for presentation at an internationally recognized conference in 2021.

Basis for judging

A selection committee with expertise in neural technology or human-machine interaction will be appointed by the CNT. Papers will be judged based on technical merit, originality, relevance, potential impact and clarity of the written paper.

The 2021 award winner has been announced, so applications are currently closed.
