HONORS AND AWARDS

Holly Hake and Andrea Stocco won the Best Applied Modeling Award at the 2023 Cognitive Science Conference for their paper titled “Breaking new fround in computational psychiatry: Model-based characterization of forgetting in healthy aging and mild cognitive impairment.”
Congratulations to Karam Khateeb (Yazdan Lab) who received the University of Washington Department of Bioengineering Excellence in Research award.
Congratulations to Julien Bloch (Yazdan Lab) who defended his Ph.D. thesis (“Computational and experimental advances in clinically relevant neurostimulation of non-human primates”) successfully on August 14, 2023.
Erica Peres Verratti (Yazdan Lab) has received an NIH diversity supplement award from NINDS (NIH) to study the stability of somatotopy and functional connectivity maps in primate sensorimotor cortex.

Undergraduate students in the CNT REU, INTEL/ ECE REU and UW ENDURE programs completed their summer research and presented their work during a symposium on August 16, 2023. Applications for the summer 2024 CNT REU program will be available later this year.
