Congratulations to graduate student Rich Henderson (laboratory of CNT co-director Chet Moritz) who received a Pacific Cascade Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience travel award to present his work at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in Boston, MA (February 15-17, 2024).
UPCOMING EVENTS
Women in NeuroAI 2024, sponsored by UW CoNect and Interactive Intelligence (February 20, 2024; UW, Seattle, WA).
A
UW Electrical and Computer Engineering article describes the work of CNT member
Chris Rudell and his team of UW graduate students to create a computer chip that sends and receives large amounts of data. The research team won the Best Student Paper Award at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) European Solid-State Circuits Conference last year.
The DO-IT Center and the CNT will sponsor a free, summer program for neurodiverse high school students. Students will learn about neuroscience, neural engineering, neuroethics, scientific communication and research in CNT laboratories. The goal is to expose students to the field of neural engineering and provide basic preparation for college studies in STEM subjects and future STEM careers.
Applications are now available.
