Recent accomplishments by members of the lab of UW CNT faculty member Azadeh Yazdan:
Karam Khateeb and Jasmine Zhou successfully defended their PhD dissertations,
Rachel Mariko Iritani defended her Master’s thesis and received an NSF GRFP,
Nari Hong received the UW Department of Bioengineering Excellence in Research Award (postdoc category) and a Weill Neurohub Postdoctoral Fellowship,
Sophia Shan received the UW College of Engineering Herbold Fellowship,
Sophia Shan, Felix Schwock, and Mathew Bryan (from the lab of CNT co-Director Raj Rao were invited to give talks at IEEE EMBC 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
CNT Executive Director/Education Director Eric Chudler has transitioned to a Research Associate Professor Emeritus at the University of Washington.
Last month, the CNT held its
Young Scholars Program-REACH for high school students. Included were talks from Eric Chudler (introduction to neuroscience / neurotechnology), Jeffrey Herron (deep brain stimulation; lower left), Chet Moritz (electrical stimulation of the spinal cord; upper right), Amy Orsborn (brain computer interfaces; lower right) and Sara Goering (neuroethics; upper left).
